The campsite is located in Aukštaitija National Park, Vaišniūnai Forest District, Ignalina District.
The Dringykščia (Meira) stream flows along the edge of the campsite, and the settlement of Meironys is located here. There is an interesting tradition in the village of Meironys: during Pentecost, farmers decorate their cows with flower wreaths and float them to the embankment of the cape opposite, which the locals nicknamed Pabiržius. There, the cows are released to graze freely until autumn and are floated back through Mykolines. Every morning and evening, the milkmaids sail by boat to milk the cows and float the warm milk home.
According to the information of „State Forests“, the area of the campsite is about 1 ha. Cars can be parked throughout the campsite. There are 2 stands, 1 sign, 22 benches, 11 tables, 1 gazebo, 1 footbridge, 2 toilets, 9 fireplaces, 4 trash cans, 1 changing cabin.
The campsite is free.
The camp is supervised by the Ignalina regional branch of the State Enterprise State Forest Enterprise.
