Tourism news was presented to gymnasium students

On October 1, Ignalina Gymnasium gymnasium students visited the Ignalina District Tourism Information Center. During the meeting, Marija Garejeva, Director of the Ignalina District Tourism Information Center, introduced the gymnasium students to the current tourism situation not only in Lithuania, but also in the Ignalina region. There was talk of tourist flows, service providers and the prospect of tourism in Ignalina. During the meeting, the activities and news of the Ignalina District Tourism Information Center were presented. As one of the news, the opportunity to have fun traveling around the Ignalina region was introduced, using the world-popular treasure hunting game - "Geocaching". A special surprise can also be found in some treasures - the geomonet "Visit Ignalina". This game encourages you to discover the most interesting places in Ignalina and get acquainted with the history of Ignalina region in a different way. This activity is carried out within the framework of the measure “Tourism as a Healthy Alternative” financed by the Ignalina District Municipality Public Health Special Program. We are happy with the interest of gymnasium students and hope that they will contribute to the promotion of tourism in the Ignalina region.
