Don't even doubt it, Paradise exists on earth, and it is in Ignalina!
The Ignalina region is famous for its nature - hundreds of lakes and vast forests, which is why it is sometimes called a paradise on earth. However, traveling on this route, you will not only admire hilly landscapes, colorful villages, sacred and historical sites, you will bypass the second largest lake in Lithuania, Dysnai, but also reach a village called Rojus.
Part of the route runs through the border area, so please have your personal documents with you.
Part of the route is gravel roads.
Where to eat: pack a picnic and have a fun picnic at the rest areas along the way, such as at the Pūškai Mound, Rimšė, or Salakas.
