The Kačėniškės acquaintance trail connects two districts: Ignalina and Švenčionys. Leaving your vehicles at the parking lot near the village of Garniai, you can reach the hillfort on foot from the west side. It is an 800-meter-long, winding, terraced trail with information stands, benches, and trash cans. The trail crosses marshy areas. Small raised bogs or intermediate bogs dominate the Sirvėta Regional Park. The vegetation in the raised bog on both sides of the hiking trail is poor: crooked, low trees grow, and plants that love acidic soil.
