The Valdas Danilevičius Nature Museum is located in the village of Ažvinčiai, in the Kazitiškis eldership. Built on private property, the museum was established and introduced to the public on June 12, 2020. It exhibits more than several hundred impressive trophies from around the world, ranging from the largest to the smallest.
Here you can find the hunted African Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo), many species of antelopes, as well as fauna from the forests of Russia and Europe. One could say that the museum reflects the main hobby and source of livelihood of the homestead’s owner – the organization of trophy hunts.
