Rakšteliai mound

The hillfort, also called „Šunakaris“ was founded in Nalšia Land. It is a large, low hill located on the cape of the northeastern shore of Lake Miškinis. It is surrounded by Lake Miškinis from the south and west, and a deep valley from the north.

No cultural layer or fortifications have been observed, so it is difficult to say when the mound could have been inhabited. The mound is covered with arable land and overgrown with pine trees.

The mound is located near the border with Švenčionys district municipality, in the Sirvėta regional park.
