On the shore of Lake Lūšiai, near the village of Meironys, there are 16 wooden sculptures. In 1977, during a creative camp, folk artists immortalized the beauty of nature and the legends of the Ignalina region in them. The sculpture „Fairy Tale“ by P. Petronis from Ignalinietis tells that it is dangerous for men to swim in the lake after 12 o'clock in the morning, because the fairies that have sailed out torture the bravest in a strange way – a tickle. Several sculptures even depict devils. Old people say that one of them still lives in the nearby Tarama lake.
