Grows in the town of Tverečius, near the church. A state-protected natural botanical landscape object. Height 28 m, trunk circumference 5.5 m.
Before World War II, the top of the oak was cut off. The oak grows in a former holy place of the ancient Lithuanian religion. According to legend, during the baptism of 1387, a priest who lived here extinguished the holy fire and hammered an oak stick into the ground with his fist, from which the Tver Oak grew.
Preserved since 1960.
