We nurture the traditional crafts and folklore of the Ignalina region

10.00 am - 16:00 there will be creative workshops and meetings with folklore performers of the region


Traditional crafts will be taught:

the secrets of felting - certified craftswoman Marijona Lukoševičienė from Šiūlėnai;

puppet tying - master Ema Trapikienė from Ceikiniai;

ceramics - craftsman Jolita Bužinskienė from Daugėliškis;

paintings on wood - decorator Virginija Stasiūnaitė from Guntauninkai;

secrets of carving - sculptor Jonas Grunda from Ignalina.


Ignalina district will participate in the event and learn crafts. Didžiasalis "Rytas" gymnasium and Ignalina district. Students of Vidiškiai gymnasium. All participants of the event will be entertained and introduced to the folklore of the Ignalina region by the ensemble "Serbenta" (Ceikiniai) and the ensemble "Volungė" (Mielagėnai)
