INFORMATION ABOUT THE GALAPAGAI FESTIVAL 2019
Dear, Igninians and city guests!
The Galapagos 2019 Festival will be held in Palūšė and Meironai village on July 26-28
We recommend traveling to the festival by public transport or on foot, as there will be a large influx of arriving cars and you may have to spend long periods of time traveling by your own transport. If you plan to travel with your own vehicle, remember that parking is not strictly forbidden in non-designated areas. Cars can be parked only in the festival car park, which will be accessible only from Ignalina side (one-time entrance fee - 10 Eur). Traffic in the village of Meirons is restricted to residents of Meirons who have special permits.
For your convenience, paid buses run from Ignalina to Palūšė, and from Palūšė to the festival grounds you can arrive by water taxi from Palūšė Boat Bar. Buses from Ignalina to the festival will run until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.
