400 years old oak in Palūšė village is a protected natural heritage object. The oak grows next to the fence of the churchyard of Palūšė church. The volume of the oak strain is 4.60 m, the height is 26 m.
It is said that the priest wanted to cut down the oak, but during the thunderstorm the oak directed lightning away from the church. The priest took pity on the tree, so he still guards the church.
