ABOUT:

In the summer, Paliesius Manor will present pianist Kaspars Uinskas for the first time with a solo program, who will perform a majestic piano sonata for piano and three etudes by the genius of the Romantic era Franz Liszt. The concert will be crowned by sonata for viola and piano by another famous German romantic, Johannes Brahms. 1 op. 120 Nr. 1, which K. Uinskas will perform with the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize winner viola player Girdutis Jakaitis.

"Although I have a very wide repertoire, so far I have not had to delve deeper into the music of F. Liszt. He is a unique composer, very virtuoso, but at the same time incredibly deep. His sonata is full of romantic but at the same time philosophical spirit. I am currently preparing a full recital of F. Liszt's works, so the listeners of Paliesius manor will be the first to hear me with this repertoire. The concert will also feature sonata for viola and piano by another of my favorite composers - Johannes Brahms, which we will perform together with viola player Girdutis Jakaitis. It will also be a kind of debut as we will be performing with this musician for the first time. I am very much looking forward to this live meeting with the audience, ”said K. Uinskas.
