Ignalina is a land of lakes.

There are several hundred lakes in the region and a dozen more around the city itself. We invite you to take a walk around the city, not only along the streets, but also through the forests and along the shores of the lakes. From the Vilkakalnis observation deck, admire the beautiful natural scenery.

The number eight in the route name reflects not only the number of lakes, but also the shape of the route, which allows you to choose whether to walk the entire route or in parts.
